David Kohlhagen is a therapist in private practice, a Licensed Professional Counselor,
and a National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.
He is the founder of FORCE OF HABIT and
TRANCEFORMATION THERAPY.
He has been a mental health professional for well over thirty years, providing individual,
family, and marital therapy, hypnotherapy, and professional training and consultation. He
developed Tranceformation and Force of Habit over fifteen years ago, when he became a
practicing hypnotherapist
David lives, works, and plays in west county St. Louis. He has given numerous talks
and training demonstrations on hypnosis, Force of Habit, and the rapid improvement
of psychological and health conditions. He has been a co-trainer with Jon Connelly
in several week-long hypnosis trainings in Delray Beach and Brookfield, Florida.
He has also studied and practiced energy healing work on an advanced level. The
as-yet unpublished manuscript of his book, Force of Habit: Get Well and Stay Well
by Clearing up Your Negative Habits of Mind, Body and Spirit, received strong
endorsements from Bernie Siegel, MD and Christianne Northrup, MD. You can read excerpts

2013 HOPE Group at St. Anthony's Medical Center
This is an hour long full length video of a talk David presented to 35 members of
the HOPE Group at St. Anthony's Medical Center on February 11, 2013. HOPE Group
is a support group for families of heroin addicts. The talk is titled SOURCE VERSUS ADDICT: THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ADDICTION,
CODEPENDENCE, and SELF WORTH.
The film was made, produced and edited with my permission by HOPE Group resource
videographer Michael Meagher. Participants and organizers of non-profit public service
organizations are encouraged to audio and video record David Kohlhagen's presentations
for their own use
by special agreement.
