"There is a rapidly growing body of research evidence suggesting that everything that is taking place in our physical health is the direct result of what is going on in our mind."
"All illness, disease and disorder run counter to our natural condition of health and wellness."
"No doctor, therapist, friend, or mother can make up for a lack of self-concern and good self-care on your part."
Habits affect every aspect of our lives. There is a rapidly growing body of research
evidence suggesting that everything that is taking place in our physical health
is the direct result of what is going on in our mind. What is going on in our
mind
is habits of one kind or another. These habits can be for better or for worse. They
include habits of thinking, feeling and behaving.
It is our natural condition to be healthy, happy and whole. Everything about the
way we are built and organized-on every level-persistently points in the direction
of wholeness and health.
Natural Balance of Health and
Wellness
Did you know that your body immediately begins to heal itself as soon as you are
cut or otherwise injured? When your skin is wounded, right away the blood begins
to clot, white blood cells rush to the scene to ward off infection, your body begins
isolating and moving any foreign objects to the surface of the wound, and the wound
starts to close from the inside out-all in order to restore your natural balance
of healthfulness. This takes place immediately, and without any conscious effort
whatsoever on your part-it is a habit on the part of your subconscious mind. Your
mind and your body constantly strive to reset everything about you to your default
setting of strong, balanced and healthy.
Without hesitation your body utilizes its precious resources making a priority of
restoring your health and strength any time there is an infection, imbalance or
invasion of any kind. Your cells, including nerves cells, are repaired and replaced
any time they are damaged or too worn out to do their job; your cells regroup, re-grow,
reconstitute and reorganize in order to perform the job for which they were created.
Your body strives always to be whole, strong and well.
What this means is that all illness, disease and disorders run counter to our natural
condition of health and wellness.
When we are emotionally troubled we can't ignore it. Our mind nags at us and prompts
us to recognize the trouble; we feel stuck, held back and unable to function properly.
We become preoccupied with the subtle-and not so subtle-variations of fear that
cause and feed bad habits. We feel dissatisfied and discontent. The joy is missing
from life and we know it. We feel a magnetic attraction toward a healthier condition
and we have difficulty concentrating on anything else until the problem is rectified.
Our bodies, our mind, and our
spirit are constantly seeking to identify any symptoms
of imbalance or sickness and restore our entire being to balance, harmony, and strength.
Only You can Take
Responsibility
Always remember that you care much more about your own well-being than anyone else
ever can, and that you have much more to gain or lose from your state of wellness
or sickness than anyone else does. No doctor, therapist, friend, or mother can make
up for a lack of self-concern and good self-care on your part. If you need resources
and help to take care of yourself, then get the help of a holistic healing professional
to clear up the imbalances and the obstacles to your natural state of well-being.
It is your right to be well, and only you can take the responsibility to get there.
Health Habits
Because I advertise myself as a hypnotherapist doing mind/body healing work, many
of the clients who come to me for treatment are suffering as much from physical
and health problems as they are emotional difficulties. All acquired health and
medical problems, such as asthma, allergies, irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia
or chronic fatigue syndrome, acid reflux, hypertension, migraine headaches and many
others can be as readily improved and cleared up as any other kind of habits, using
the tools and processes of Tranceformation. That is why health problems are included
in the "Bad Habits" list.
The condition of your health is as much a result of the state of your habits as
anything else is. Bad habits of thinking, especially those caused by
chronic stress
and anxiety, can have a very negative effect on your health and well-being. Bad
habits of eating, sleeping, exercising, connecting socially and dealing with your
stress can be detrimental to your health as well. The bad habits that are having
a negative impact on our health can be completely cleared up. "When the mind is
healed the body will heal itself."
It is your natural state and condition to be healthy and happy. It is your perfect
right. When you take responsibility to clear up any obstacles to that natural state,
health and vitality will be the natural result.
